DIY: Cork board.
Boyfriend and I made our own cork board! Definitely took more corks than I would have thought.
I really like the way it turned out.

Chai Tea and Wine.
Chai Tea is our dog.
Drinking wine is what we do on weekends.
There's an amazing tasting room in Jack London Square. Convenient, fun and delicious. (Also, dog friendly!) Be sure to stop by Cerruti Cellars!

Rest in Paradise, Bret.
The grief will be overwhelming tomorrow... An old friend died last week. The memorial is tomorrow morning. RIP Bret, we will all miss you.
I went back and reread the yearbook signatures I received from Bret over the years.

He always had the worst handwriting... We never did "repay" him.
My thoughts go out to his family & best friends and the heartbreak they must be feeling. I can't imagine. I'm heartbroken & I haven't seen Bret in three years.
No one can take away the memories and the friendship we had... I will miss you, Bret. I will miss your smile, your hugs and your warmth. There was a reason you were voted "Class Teddy Bear" senior year.
I'm sorry we hadn't seen each other in awhile. I guess everyone always figures they have more time. More time to see people, more time to reconnect, more time to cherish. But when time runs out, all we have are regrets and sadness. Now, we have to say goodbye.
Rest in Paradise, Bret.
